Road users in Fiji have been elated by the improvements made on the Labasa – Savusavu road. This road is heavily relied upon by road users; over 450 thousand automobiles travel on the road and now it has been rehabilitated.
Construction giant Fulton Hogan had been on ground to spearhead the road works. The dilapidated sections of the road have been improved and drainages for water flow were installed. Road users have acknowledged that the works have made life easier and reduced transportation time.
The road was laden with potholes and posed a threat to the wellbeing of passengers but since its rehabilitation it has brought happiness to the drivers who use the road.
